What’s Behind the name?

As we said in our About page, we believe that what we do in our off hours is where our passions often lie. The origins of the name is also and idea borrowed from Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique that all the “hours off” will not replenish a woman unless she begins to thinks of herself as “a human first.” For us “woman” applies to all cis/trans women and others who identify with such a term.
